well fuck okay. here it goes. this is a RANT so if you don’t want to read it scroll i just need to get this off my chest.
okay, so i have a friend, shes obviously a city girl. spoiled, rich, parents pay for everything, never worked a day in her life, hates mud yatta yatta yatta. i have no problem with people that love the city or are from the city or whatever, if you’re a decent person idgaf where you’re from but if you’re a gloating big headed jackass then i won’t like you, whether you’re country or city.
OKAY
so she is apparently really into country music now and wants to buy boots and go to all these concerts when she couldn’t even name half the artists two weeks ago. SHES GOING TO FUCKING TIM MCGRAW. She was like lol i only know like two of his songs like no fuck you. And Brantley is opening up for him and she knows hes one of my favorites that i have not yet seen and shes rubbing my face in it like oh come! get your parents to buy you tickets like my mommy and daddy did.
like no. Since i’ve started going to concerts my parents have made me pay if its something they don’t want to see. I don’t have a lot of money to spend and all the tickets left are like $200 each. I don’t have your money and in my family if you really want something you gotta work for it. Shes never had to do that
I’m just so fucking sick of it and she’s just like yeah i just started listening to country but “i’m a true southern BELL at heart”
first off
you grew up in the north, you can’t be southern. You can be country but you aren’t that either. Going to Florida for a week on spring break does not automatically give you a southern accent and a farmers tan.
second
ITS FUCKING BELLE ARE YOU STUPID
as in beauty
as in the opposite of your fucking personality right now.
okay rant over
and if you go to school with me don’t fucking run up to me and ask me who this is about i won’t tell you. i just needed to get this off my chest because its really fucking annoying. shes still my friend and i love her most of the time but you can’t just snap your fingers and become country and its actually really insulting to me thats what she think she can do.
this is how i grew up; how i was raised. this is how my parents were raised and theirs. this is my morals and my beliefs and every single bit of me and for you to be like OH i want to be like you too, you can’t. Its flattering but you can’t. It’s something in your blood that you can’t run away from.
